CRC delivers donation to flood victims in Puerto Plata

Central Romana delivered a donation of 500 bags of refined sugar and 1,505 pounds of cold cut sausages that were distributed to the flood victims and families affected by torrential rains in the Puerto Plata province and other northern communities of the country.

The Papagayo brand sugar and the Higueral beef and pork products were handed out through the senatorial office of Congressman José Ignacio Paliza, the local Bishop and Catholic Church, as well as the local Federation of Evangelical Pastors, and the Chamber of Produce and Commerce of the region.

“Central Romana is committed to support and bring solidarity to all affected by the floods in Puerto Plata and other towns close by, expressing our true concern and welfare on behalf of the city of La Romana” was expressed in a release sent to the media.
